President Obama to speak on New GI Bill at George Mason University today. |
WASHINGTON — The first new GI Bill since the 9/11terror attacks tops President Barack Obama's agenda. The
president is scheduled to attend a rally Monday morning at George Mason
University in Fairfax, Va., to celebrate the implementation of the
bill, which provides veterans with comprehensive educational benefits.
The Veterans Affairs Department began distributing tuition payments to
schools participating in the program over the weekend. In the next
